I'm J.R.CBS Sports Radio and I want to introduce you to a new podcast titled Agents of Inclusion brought to

you by Special Olympics Odyssey and J.R. Sport Reproductions. Every Wednesday we'll be speaking

with a different Special Olympics athlete to share their stories of perseverance,

accomplishment and path towards inclusion.

I think that's the one thing people will often see. When they hear you have a disability,

the walls are up. They push back and they go, oh, okay. And they immediately come up with a list

of things that say, you can't do this. You can't do that. But what about our abilities?

What about the things we can do? That's the thing that's missing. That's what Special Olympics

looks at. That's the difference. Special Olympics doesn't look at your disability. They

look at your ability. I mean, they know you have one and they want to work with you. That's the

point. But they don't focus on that. That's not the focus. Focus is the ability. How can we work with you?

We don't want you to just listen. We want you to become an active agent of inclusion as well.
