Daniel Alfordson back in the mix with the Ottawa Senators, a role that has yet to be defined.

with some of the players today going over skills issues with them. It's long been rumored that Alpardson's going to come back in some type of official capacity

with the Ottawa Senators.

Today was the first glimpse, as I mentioned, no official title yet, Steve Stéo is saying they're trying to put something together, figure out what exactly his title, his position is going to be.

And if I'm throwing a dart here at this one I'm

and this is just based on who Daniel Alpardson is and based on

how he's acted in the past,

it wouldn't surprise me if, A, this relationship now

has been reopened, obviously, but B,

I wonder if Alfredson waits until everything settles in Ottawa with the new ownership group and all the positions and all the people in those positions.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Alfredson continued to work

with the Ottawa Senators for the Ottawa Senators in an as-of-yet undefined position and waited for everything to settle and

people to settle into their spots until his title gets defined. Does that make sense? I hope so.
