Hi, everyone. Welcome to the first of what I hope are many new installments in a new podcast

series at Remap called Worth Reading. Worth Reading was a long-running feature at some of my

previous homes, including Giant Bomb and Kataku, where I tried to highlight interesting writing,

reporting, and criticism in the world of video games. I've been looking for Inexus to bring

Worth Reading back in a new format, and so I figured, well for an excuse to bring worth reading back in a new format.

And so I figured, well, people seem to like podcasts.

Like, why not just do another pot?

That's what the world needs.

It needs another podcast.

So welcome to worth reading, a short form, at least by remap standards anyway,

a short form podcast where remap chats with people who are doing

interesting writing, reporting, and criticism in the world of video games. I'm happy that you're here,

and I'm especially happy to welcome Nicole Clark, a writer and editor I've had the great fortune

of working within the past, notably at Waypoint, where she penned a wonderful article,

but one of my favorite games, Sayonora Wild Hearts, called Sionora Wild Hearts and the masks we wear to protect ourselves.

Waypoint's archive is still up right now,

so you can still read that piece without having to jump through hoops.

So I implore you to do so.

Nicole has previously oversaw the culture section at Polygon,

and has been published in many, many places,

including the New York Times,
