This is Sarah Hart Unger, the host of this podcast.

And I am here to welcome you today to season three.

I'm calling this season three because I believe

we began season two at the start of the new year. And then I took a lovely hiatus in July. So this does

seem like a natural break point to welcome you back to the third season of this podcast about

all things planning and planning adjacent.

So this is episode number 53, and that's a little bit of a cheat because as you probably noticed, and as I had announced, we did take a four-week break for the month of July of

2021.

And during that time, my podcast producers and I decided to air

four of some of our most popular episodes. So I know some of you enjoyed listening to those,

either the first time or maybe the second time. But yeah, I think having a one month break,

at least yearly, is a, I don't know, a great thing to do for this

podcast sustainability because I'm back even more excited than ever to come talk about

all things planning related. And it was just really nice to have that downtime during a time of

year when planning isn't necessarily as much on the forefront of everyone's minds.

Fun fact, this podcast has now reached its first birthday, so that's kind of an exciting milestone.

It debuted at the very end of July 2020 with three episodes dropped the first week,

and so this can be considered the anniversary episode, perhaps.

So this is kind of a big deal.
