And it is, ooh, it's an interesting one.

This is a nice bit of winter escapism.

And this is Joe McCormick. And today on Weird House Cinema, we're going to be talking about the 1952 Finnish folk horror film, The White Reindeer, starring Miriami Kwasmanen, and directed by Eric Blomberg.

If I may say, I think this is the finest wear-ungulet movie I have ever seen.

It may be the finest wear-un movie i have ever seen it may be the the finest wear ungulate movie i can

envision uh because the concept to many of you i imagine in werewolf fans uh to the last of you i'm assuming

um you might struggle to get excited for a wear reindeer picture.

And yet this one is really good.

It's, it's classy.

It's basically art house and has some, you know,

almost kind of documentary vibes to it at times.

It's very well done. And ultimately makes you buy in completely to this concept that I have to admit that on the surface,
