Hello everyone and welcome back to my podcast

esme's country life first off i'd just like to apologize for um how late this podcast is coming out i and also if i

sound a little bit snuffly because i've been really really poorly and really really ill lately. I meant to last week film this podcast, and I knew I was coming down with a cold,

and I thought, you know what, I'll shake it off soon, it'll be fine,

I'll just wait until I'm a little bit better.

And then each day kind of went on, and I just got worse and worse,

and it actually got to the point where I completely lost my voice.

Today is one of the first days where I'm not coughing or sneezing every five minutes.

So fingers crossed, this all goes well and I seem well enough and I don't sound like an old man like I was a few days ago

because I feel like that probably wouldn't be the most

sort of nice thing to listen to in your day to day. And also, hopefully I won't have to make a lot of

cuts because normally when I do my podcast, I literally just sit here for about 40 minutes and I chat

away and I probably only need to make what, four or five cuts max. And I can imagine that if I just started, like,

sneezing or coughing all the way through, that would be a pain to edit. But anyway, I'm feeling a

lot better now. I don't know what it is, but recently my immune system has been really bad.
