Hello everybody and welcome back to my podcast, Esme's Country Life.

Today I thought I would talk about a specific topic.

I know in my previous episodes they've been very much like a bit of an update, a bit of, you know, what's happening in my life at the moment, sort of current things.

And today I thought I'd talk a little bit more

about my past and also a little bit more about my jobs that I had before I did YouTube. So,

um, there's not many people know this, but I actually used to work at a vet's practice when,

I think I was 16 when I first got the job or when I first started working there. And I have

some really funny and interesting stories from my job and working there. But also I thought

I'd talk about, you know, some of the other like smaller jobs that I had when growing up.

Because I always find that's really interesting. So I think the first sort of jobs I did was when I was

quite young actually. I think I must have been like 12, 13 maybe, kind of when I was like a baby teenager.

There was a lady that lived down the road from us and she had a horse and when she was like a way or that kind of thing, I would look after her horse for her.

So often I'd just go over there, give the horse a bit more haylidge or hay, muck out the stable, that kind of thing, give the horse

a little bit of a groom and attention, and she'll just leave like a little five-pound note

or something under a bucket for me, and that was only down the road, so I'll get on my bike

and, like, cycle down there. There was another family that lived not too far away from me and when

they were on holiday or when they were busy I would look after their guinea pigs for them so
