Saw a list on Instagram Friday afternoon

0:35.0

and haven't really been able to stop thinking about it

0:37.4

because of a few different reasons.

So posted in collaboration with several pretty decently sized college football sites,

CFB Blitz, the random SECC Savage College Football, CFB Home, the winter show.

0:51.3

Those are all pretty decently sized accounts.

And really, like the order of quarterbacks, I mean, those are all pretty decently sized accounts. And really,

0:55.6

like the order of quarterbacks,

0:57.7

it doesn't,

0:58.6

obviously it's not doctrine.

1:00.3

It's not gospel.

But I do think the general perception of people's thoughts

1:05.7

outside of Auburn on Byron Brown is interesting.

And I think it's worth taking note now that we're kind of in the thick of the offseason here. And so their quarterback power rankings, everybody's going to have Trinidad, Chamblis, Archmanning, Gunnard Stockton, 1, 2, 3. That's fine. That's fine. I think after that is where it gets a little hairy. And if you want to move some of those guys around, and if you want to argue that some of those guys are too high, that's fine. But that's going to be your consensus. I'm pretty much every list you're going to see this offseason. This list has Byron Brown at 8 because after that, there's guys that have questions on them for one reason or another. Sam Levin at 4 with LSU seems way too high. whatever. I get it. If you want to give him the benefit of the doubt because he went to the playoff two years ago or he's laying Kiffin's quarterback. Okay, four seems high. The system's going to help them. If that's why you're putting him up there. Okay. Whatever. Marcel Reed at 5. Lenora Sellers at six, Johnman's here at seven,

all guys with question marks on them. But Byron Brown at eight, to me, is fine. And I do think that

2:13.4

was lower than what the perception was a few months ago. And now that the dust is settled a little bit, I think people have kind of said, okay, well, hold on, let's see. Hold on, let's see what's going to happen here. And, you know, people are going to have opinions on the 8-A stat line and box score and all that. I just don't care. I super don't care to quote Alice Golish on all that.
