Summary
This show is all about weight loss and inspiration!
Some believe that when you begin losing weight at some point the scale will simply stop moving. You eat the same and you exercise the same, but the pounds stop coming off. Maybe you exercise even more, but it seems no matter what you try you're stuck on the weight loss plateau.
"The Weight Loss Champion" Chuck Carroll sits down with dietician Karen Smith to figure out how to get unstuck. She has tips and tricks to reboot your weight loss journey and get you back on the path to a healthier life!
Of course, when it comes to slimming down sometimes we all can use a little motivation. Eric O'Grey is the embodiment of inspiration!
For years he struggled with obesity and was on mountains of medications to treat type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. At one point a doctor even told him to buy a cemetery plot because a grave would be his next stop.
Then he found another doctor who gave him two more prescriptions that would save his life: adopt a plant-based diet and a dog. Both he and the dog slimmed down and Eric is no longer on any medication.
Chuck welcomes Eric back to the show to talk about his extraordinary accomplishment and for the first time they are joined by the doctor whom he credits with saving his life, Dr. Preeti Kulkarni! Hear in her own words about why she took such a unique approach with Eric and what it was like to witness this extraordinary success unfold before her very eyes.
