While Ezra prayed and made confession, weeping and casting himself down before the house of God,

according to in Ezra chapter 9. So that scene in Ezra 9 was Ezra falling before the Lord on his face, just weeping over sin and conviction of sin in his life and the people of God around him.

I read this and I'm just provoked to lead us to pray for these realities in our own lives, like Ezra chapter 9, verse 4 and 5 and 6 showed us,

to spread in our families and in our churches among more and more people that not just individual

ones alone with God might be broken over sin, but that we as the people of God would be broken

spiritual awakening in the church have come when God's spirit has brought about this kind of

conviction, not just upon a few people here or there, but across God's people. So can we just pray

we pray, Ezra 10-1, not just over our lives, but over your church and our churches, our local

churches that we're a part of. God, we pray for a spirit of confession and brokenness over sin for weeping

over sin to mark our churches. God, help us not to be casual with sin as your people. God,
