Being cheated on can be devastating, freeing, confronting, an incredible learning experience, and everything in between. Whatever it is, it always needs processing, and it always needs healing. If you've ever been cheated on, have a listen. Or if you know someone who's trying to recover, maybe send this their way. At their peak, affairs rarely lack imagination, nor do they lack desire, abundance of attention,

0:07.3

romance, and playfulness, share dreams, affection, passion, and endless curiosity. All these are

0:14.1

natural ingredients found in the adulterous plot. They are also ingredients of thriving relationships. It is no accident that many of the most

Those are words from Esther Perel. So today we are going to talk all about infidelity. Many of you have asked for a

0:40.3

follow up on the mini episode that I did about how to heal from us cheating, so from the role of

0:49.0

the person who had been unfaithful. And many of you had asked for a follow-up to look at how do we heal from being cheated on,

1:29.9

lay out for you, your path to whether you should stay or go will reveal itself.

1:36.4

This is one of the hard parts about having someone betray us, is that we are left with

1:43.0

the decision of, do we stay in that relationship?

1:46.8

Do we try and make it work if they are wanting to do that?

1:51.3

If they're wanting to stay and they're asking for us as the person who's been betrayed to

1:57.1

heal the relationship and work on it.

1:59.9

And it's a very challenging decision that we are faced with in those moments.

2:05.5

And so my approach here today is to look at how do we heal from being cheated on in a way

2:12.2

that will reveal the answer of whether or not we want to maintain that relationship.

2:20.4
