Well, other than the fact that I'm completely despondent based upon rural events, I'm going to start the show with an apology.

And I feel bad. I genuinely feel bad because a week ago today, the twins were getting set to kick off their playoff run against the Toronto Blue Jays.

And in my defense, I have had what 19 years of heartbreak of playoff disappointment to back me up and thinking this way, but I should have known better.

But it hasn't really taken away from my enjoyment of what's been a really fun pull season series to watch.

I said, if we're not going to win the World Series, meaning we got to still got a chance to win it all.

However, this has been really fun. So what I said a week ago on the show was, if they're not going to win the World Series, I want to keep the streak alive because that's kind of our thing.

Now that the streak is over, let's go win the damn thing because when you said that to me, I called BS. I'm like, you can't mean that.
