But a story that you had sent saying, you know, we need to discuss this.

I think we need to get to this right away because it's filled me with rage in a number of,

in a number of areas, but most principally because this is something that you and I and basically everybody listening to us has gone through it.

Either as a child or as an adult, the floor is yours.

So you may not have heard the story and you may have.

So there's this woman named Brittany Patterson who allowed her son

Soren to walk alone one mile to the store. And she, he's 10 years old. So he had to walk one

mile. They live in a town called Mineral Bluff, Georgia, which has a population of 370 people.

So she allowed her son Soren to walk alone, one mile to town, and what happened is she was charged with reckless conduct, and authorities claim she had left her son unsupervised, which they deem as a gross deviation for the standard of care.

And I thought, wait, so 2024.

We've got to be missing something.

Is now the time that if you allow your 10-year-old son to walk a mile into town

and you live in Mineral Bluff, Georgia, a population

at 375, they come and arrest you?
