0:41.4	And first off, just want to say thank you to all of the new patrons who have signed up over at Patreon.
0:49.4	It means so much to us and I know most of you have heard by now, but we're kind of in a new chapter of our show's history.
0:56.4	I'm going to be stepping away at least for the year, but but most likely for good from my position.
1:01.4	It's good more really looking forward to devoting some intentional time and energy to the show.
1:08.4	I said it last week, there's a lot of folks in academia and not all and a lot of you are listening are included in this.
1:14.4	But there are some who see this kind of work is not real work, not real academia, not real something.
1:20.4	You know, we just don't agree. We see this as some of the most important stuff we do.
1:25.4	So me stepping away from skidmore will actually have some some domino effects where I'll have some more time and energy to cultivate this show and everything we're up to here.
1:35.4	Making those decisions for a host of family reasons as well and related to my wife's career and our baby on the way.
