A lot to dive into throughout the course of today's program. About an hour we're going to be

0:18.3

joined by Alex Berencine. I think you guys will enjoy that as we talk about the latest COVID data.

0:23.2

Today is the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Buck and I will discuss that a bit as we are both

0:32.0

history nerds and it is an amazing and captivating story 80 years to the day since that happened almost 80 years to the hour, I believe,

0:43.2

as we move across this show.

We're also going to talk about a swimmer that we touched on a little bit on Friday at the University of

Pennsylvania who after three years swimming as a man for the Ivy League team there at Pennsylvania has now decided to swim as a woman.

And over the weekend won the 500 erase by nearly 15 seconds, which is an unbelievable story when it comes to really the

future of women's athletics if biological men can just decide to become women and compete against women. We'll talk about that and more, but right off the top some good news.

2:40.9

How is it that we aren't having a real discussion and I start off the show today because I know a lot of people out there listen to this show as rush used to say as show prep for much of their own shows.

2:52.3

How is it that we're not having a discussion about the fact that at this point in time and frankly for the last six months or so, everyone who is unvaccinated is making a calculated decision.

3:02.9

To be unvaccinated and now that we know a lot of the criticism of the unvaccinated has been, oh my goodness, you're going to make me sicker, you're going to get me sick because the vaccinated people have it trusted their vaccines.

3:15.8

But Buck, now that we know that when you get vaccinated, you have a less severe case of COVID if you get it from hospitalization or death related issues, but you're no more likely necessarily to spread COVID than someone who has not.

3:31.4
