21 years after the horrendous events of terrorists on our country

And I'm reflecting today on my feelings from that day and

For many months that followed and I've used the acronym of love to journal some of my thoughts today

L being the loss of life over 3,000 died that day and the haunting

Voices of so many people that called their loved ones

Knowing that that this was their last day on earth and how that made us feel so

Desperately saddened for all of those families and friends and colleagues

That lost people that they loved and cared for in such a horrific way

L is also for

lost

We lost our sense of security as the most powerful nation in the world that day

How could this be happening and we must never forget all the amazing heroes of that day
