So today is Mother's Day.

And I am blessed with three amazing adult children now.

My love and a door and who also love and adore me

and we just take care of each other

and I don't know what my life would be without them.

But this day also reminds me of my own mother

who died when I was 17.

So that was 53 years ago.

So for most of my life I have lived without my mother

and I think of her often several times a week even now.

So I'm just always aware on Mother's Day

of all the emotions around mothering

and for those that have not been able to be a mother

or have chosen not to be a mother.
