And I hope that you all are enjoying the day and the eve and having fun with your costumes and trick-or-treating

and all of us that are serving our big candy bars. I hope that there are none left so that we're able to steer them all appropriately.

But I want to talk today about the day that follows Halloween.

And that is November 1st, which is All Saints Day or All Souls Day.

And it's when we remember those who have died.

And I always think about my parents on this day because my parents were so amazing.

First of all, they had a really beautiful marriage.

My mom was a classic stay-at-home mom unless she was working with my dad.

He was self-employed and she would help him in his business.

But she was always there for us and he was always there too.

So we had a nice, lovely, close-knit family.

And our home was the gathering place not only for both my mom and dad's families, but for our neighbors as well.

So our house was always filled with people and lots of fun and laughter and just great sharing.

So I have fond, fond memories of all of that and growing up believing and knowing that I could be and do anything I wanted to be and do anything I wanted to do.

That was quite powerful and I've been so blessed by that because indeed it has proven to be true that I aspire to be a mom.
