Summary

The first week of 2021 has strong Mercury, Mars, and Venus energies as we start a new calendar year that offers new opportunities, commitments, and understandings around our 2020 experiences. The Sun in Capricorn is reminding us of our fortitude and strength to keep going, and to examine new priorities for the year ahead. Mars clears his retrograde shadow and enters Taurus, where he will connect with every outer planet over the next 2 months. Mercury in Capricorn conjunct Pluto in Capricorn at 24 degrees, bringing in information, ideas, and potentials for the upcoming January 12 Capricorn New Moon. Venus finishes her travels through Sagittarius and makes a connection with the Galactic Center at 27 degrees Sag, which is where she can receive higher wisdom and understandings around the relationship lessons and themes from 2020. 0:06.3	Thank you so much for joining me today as we take a look at the astrological energies
0:10.5	from December 30th to January 6th, 2021.
0:15.2	Obviously, we are closing out one calendar year and beginning another, but we know the energies
0:20.7	continue on, they continue
0:22.2	moving, and we are going to be entering some very interesting energies as we move into January.
0:28.7	So as we finish out 2020, I did want to talk about New Year's Eve because the energies
0:35.4	are really interesting when we look at the moon.
0:39.4	So we just had the cancer full moon that was big, emotional, perhaps something came up that
0:46.5	you needed to be aware of, something was brought to your attention.
0:50.3	And that's because both the sun and the moon were squaring Chiron and also being activated by
0:55.8	Uranus. So there was definite shifts and it's a releasing energy, releasing patterns, releasing
1:02.3	emotional energy, releasing something that maybe you're just complete with. But then the moon moves
1:09.0	on and it's going to be making some oppositions to all the
1:14.4	planet that are in both Capricorn and Aquarius energies. So we have this moon in cancer, which is a
1:22.6	feeler, sensitive, likes privacy, wants to be alone, is opposing Mercury in Capricorn and then Pluto in Capricorn.
1:34.6	There's something about the last two days of 2020 that could feel big, that could bring you
1:42.3	out of a perception or bring you out of something that you've
1:46.3	been thinking about or focused on. This is an opening energy to see something from another
1:52.1	perspective. It can also feel quite emotional. Then we see the moon enter Leo and it will
1:59.2	oppose Saturn in Aquarius and Jupiter in Aquarius.
2:04.9	And this opposition is always interesting because the moon moves fast.
