What's up everyone? Welcome to weekends. I'm Anna Casparian and with us is Nando Vila who is now the full-time host of this show.

Nando is a great friend of mine and you know we came together with Michael and

had so many important political discussions,

debates, we would share stories together. So Nando I think that you're the

perfect fit for this show and I'm so happy that you're with us.

because I've always admired you very deeply,

your honesty, your fierceness, your integrity,

all those things, I just,

you're just an absolute powerhouse, So I'm very happy to be working with you and I'm also I love

The fact that we're working with Jacobin I mean I love Jacobin

You know if we grow up to a better world and our kids grow up to a better world I think

Jacobin will have a large role in that so I'm I'm very excited.

Yeah definitely I mean so Nando and I actually met each other when the full-time show that I work on the

Young Turks had sold a show to Fusion and we were traveling around the country going to different college campuses to cover the 2016 election.

Nando was on many of those episodes as an employee at fusion.

You had like a pretty important role there too, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, whatever. Yeah, not a big deal. And I like to do so much that like within a month of meeting you I invited you to my wedding. So, yeah.

So, so so much fun.

It was so much, it really was.

I had a great time.
