Generally speaking, yes, because what you are looking for on the waiver wire is pitchers with this kind of upside.

Obviously, that's not always the case.

Sometimes you're just looking for streamers who can give you a decent amount of points in the upcoming week.

But generally speaking, you are looking for pitchers who can make a big impact, who can be legitimate, must-start

difference-making type players. And Reed Detmer's definitely has that upside. And it's just a question

of if this was the fourth start of Reed Detmer's career and he did that, 14 strikeouts over eight one run innings,

there would be no question this is a 100% must add run out at him everywhere guy.

It is instead, I don't know, the 100th or the 90th start of Reed Dettmer's career.

And we have seen him mostly be bad.

And we have seen him mostly turn really interesting skills

with good peripherals into pretty mediocre results for fantasy. And so I understand and share
