I'm Stuart Mandel, joined as always by Bruce Feldman in our new Sunday morning time slot.

It was obviously a light slate of games yesterday, Bruce, but the primetime game was pretty interesting to watch.

And you've been talking about it all offseason Miami.

The new offense seems legit.

It's definitely better, Stu.

I mean, they were just discombobulated last year,

and it really cratered at the end of the year in the bowl game

where they couldn't even score.

Credit to Mani Diaz, I mean, he made a change that he had to make. Dan Enos, who had been the O.C., that wasn't working. He brings in Ret Lashley, much more up-tempo, simplifies things, and that certainly helps that he has a experience playmaking quarterback and d eric king they have good

skill talent we saw that last night i mean they got two stud tight ends they have three really dynamic

running backs the receivers aren't great but they're they're capable i think the thing that you know i don't

want to get into the is miami back thing because we've talked about some of this podcast a lot.

My gold standard line on this is Miami is not quote unquote back until they have a

parade at the end of the season.

But right now, Miami's better.

And the question is, can Miami challenge maybe Notre Dame and whoever else, North Carolina, to be the next best

team in the ACC.

And I think the key is going to be how much better can they get on the offensive line?

Because Garron Justice is a really good offensive line coach.

I think it was a good hire that they made.

But he's the third offensive line coach in three years. and that lack of continuity, I think, is an issue.
