You know when I travel around and speak at women's conferences and I get to pray with women,

it is amazing how many women I've met who've walked a divorce and they whisper at my ear

and they'll admit how misunderstood and missed at times they feel by the church where

maybe it was a divorce they didn't want, nothing they ever pursued,

but something that happened to them. And how do they ever walk through life without that negative

stigma attached to them from the people of God? Divorce brings grief, shock, anger, many soul-deep

questions. And when our friend New York Times Times best-selling author Lisa Turker's

experienced the painful and unwanted death of her marriage after nearly 30 years, she didn't

know who to turn to or what would actually help her move forward. She needed to get her bearings

on what the Bible really says about marriage and divorce. She also needed the tools to get to

the other side and see that life doesn't end when your marriage ends.

And just in Lisa's style, when there's a problem and there's a void and there's a need when it comes to content, she will do the work, she will learn what she needs to learn from Scripture, and then she'll steward it so others can be helped by her story.
