Hi, so for folks who don't know, I'm sure most people do, but let's get the intro here. Danny Segura, of course, is a reporter and well, I've got many talents over at MMA junkie slash USA today. What do you do for all MMA junkie for folks who don't know who you are, Danny?

Yeah, all kinds of things. I write, obviously, a lot of articles do a lot of interviews on site coverage, but mainly bilingual coverage. I basically, I take pride in sort of bringing the Hispanic scene of mixed martial arts into the English coverage.

So yeah, I do all kinds of things. I'm a busy man over there. And yeah, we do great content along with my colleagues. So super happy to be part of the MMA junkie family and, you know, been quite busy coming off San Antonio, and I'll be going to UFC 27 here in Miami in a few days. So pretty happy.

What's the buzz in Miami like? Well, here's the thing, right? I feel like that Miami show is a little bit like that London show. And here's what I mean by that. A lot of the Brits were saying, man, if you just look at the prices, like, it's just insane. You're going to price out the average MMA fan. I heard a lot of similar complaints from the Miami show. Are you hearing that as well?

Oh, yeah, they are stupid, expensive, the tickets. If you go and look at sort of what's in the nose bleeds. I mean, you're talking about like $500 after taxes. That's in the nose bleeds, right?

I've seen some crazy prices, but they are selling. I think by the time the event rolls out is probably going to be a sellout. So people are buying them. So again, I understand the complaints, but at the same time, like, you know, they are selling, right? So

Yeah, there's definitely that. But I mean, you got what he must be all Mr. 305 himself, the king of Miami fighting in the coming event and that sweet, sweet main event between, you know, pull it on and easy. That's going to be a fantastic fight. And below that, just all the prelims Adrian Yannis and Rob Font and you just go down the list. I mean, it's just a stacked card. So if you're going to drop money, that's kind of a card to drop some money on. So

BC booked him. Yeah, what's your read on Mike Perry versus Luke Rockhold at, well, I guess whatever the weight is that they agreed at for BKFC.

Yeah, that's a strange one. I just have even a hard time imagining what that matchup looks like. I was just in San Antonio, Luke Rockhold was their supporting Cheeto, and Luke Rockhold has the frame of a light heavyweight.

Like if you were to look at him and not know who he is, you think, oh, yeah, that guy fights at 205 Mike Perry is way more compact, probably more suited to 170 pounds. So it's just going to be very, very weird, but at the same time Luke Rockhold strings are usually around the kicks, not really his hands Mike Perry is a dog.

I'm kind of favoring Perry on that one. I don't know if I'm crazy, but I kind of got Perry in that one.

Dude, he beat and folks forget the folks don't realize he beat MVP in BKFC. Like dude, Mike Perry keeps leaving on Mike Perry and see what happens.

You know, I guess he's out man in terms of size.

But you know, Rockhold's durability, I think, is in question. Mike Perry is not in BKFC that often sometimes seems to be enough.
