For a club who pride themselves on winning trophies who, in their recent heyday had a magnificent record in the

FA Cup of all the teams at the top end of the market here Manchester United look like the ones

who could feasibly target this he's given them one of the best stadiums in Europe and one of the

best training grounds in Europe and one of the best managers in Europe and you know they're still

not investing enough on the pitch you you know, to win trophies.

I was looking back previously at old FA Cup finals. I was amazed how long it's been since they've actually won an FA Cup for a big side like Spurs. I wonder if Michael Artetter would still be asked the manager now if you hadn't won that FA Cup in his first season. It was the thing to fall back on, you know, that trophy that you won early on. First up though, let's take a look ahead to this evening's game,

and fresh from a 4-1 defeat at home to Brighton,

beleaguered Frank Lampard takes his Everton side to Old Trafford.

Surprised, Lampard's still in charge?

I mean, Everton had been around the houses, we've managed us, to be fair. Is there anywhere left for them to go? Two questions and one there, and I don't know which one's easier. I'm not surprised he's still in charge purely because, as I said, it does feel like the relationship between the club and the manager means there is as much fan pressure as you often see.

You know, you only have to look at how toxic it's become at some clubs already this season.

You look at the way that Nathan Jones has started life at Salampton,

where it does feel like his time in charge there could be difficult

because the fans, three games in have already turned on him.

With Lampard, that hasn't been the case. You know, he has been a manager that the fans have taken to. And therefore, even though he came into a relegation battle, he saved them, they're still in a relegation battle. I think that's pretty why he's being afforded more time. In terms of where do they go next, it feels to me like Sean Deich is a pretty obvious replacement
