Weekend Update.

I'm Dave DeFore here with Mo DeKille.

It's the playoff.

So we're here on a Sunday early afternoon right after Orlando and Cleveland Game 7.

And Mo, the Cleveland Cavaliers, they taunted the basketball gods.

They looked him in the face, down 18 points in this game 7.

And they're still moving on to face the Boston Celtics in round two. They defeat the Orlando

Magic 106 to 94 in game seven of the first round series between these two teams. And Mo, we thought

that the Cleveland Cavaliers had made a huge mistake, had acted with too much hubris, and frankly, I think we were right.

No, they still did.

They, okay, they tanked their way into a seven-game series, which is tough enough as it is.

And then on top of that, tanked their way into, oh, you get Boston in the second round.

Like, who's picking them over boston even with

the porzingis injury and and question marks like who do you feel really that confident with and i feel

bad because that's where we're starting with and not starting with the unbelievable comeback with the

calves in the way that they uh i mean i dave I, Dave, I thought I was like, wow.

They're like, this whole thing's changing at halftime.

And that was the thing.

The end of the second quarter was so big for them.

And I got them back into the game that built the momentum for them to really blow it open in the third quarter.
