We have some things that have popped up lately since just our last post of our chalk talk yesterday.

And that is Anthony Schwartz and first round pick Greg Newsom have signed, which is great.

The Browns go into camp with everybody squared away from their rookie list.

Most teams will.

Usually the conversation is billed around guaranteed dollars up front and usually to the offset language meaning if the Browns were to cut said player another team who picked that player

up would offset the money to Cleveland Brown's owed said cut player rookie young player on a rookie

but usually the goal is to have offset language in there that

allows rookies as a worst case scenario that they get cut and picked up by somebody else.

They can then, you know, profit from two places. Cleveland finishing out there guaranteed

money and the other place new contract. So I think that's how I've always understood it.

Someone wants to yell at me about that. Feel free. I'm not a cap guru, but that's what I've come to understand. But it looks like the Browns are good to go. All of those are signed. The 75th anniversary uniforms are out.
