Hello, young chefs! I've missed you!

Welcome to season 5 of Mystery Recipe.

Each week on Mystery Recipe we'll be talking about the fun, fantastical, and fascinating

sides of a different kitchen ingredient. And at the end of the season, we'll use all

the ingredients to cook a mystery recipe together. Are you ready for season 5?

Well, so am I! I am more ready than literally anybody else, actually, which is why I'm the

only one here. I'm so ready in fact that I've arrived in the studio one week early.

Now, I know what you're thinking. That is very early, but last season, I almost missed

the season premiere because I was vacationing down at Florida, and I do not want that to happen

again. So, I'm going to sit tight. Right here in the studio, until we are ready to record.

I brought some snacks, mostly just beef jerky, a lot of jerky, and my tablet so I can

listen to podcasts. Oh, and Oliver! Say hi, Oliver! Oliver is my pet cat, and we all

love him very much. Since I won't be home to feed him for a week, I figured I'd bring

him with me. And, well, I think that's it. I won't make you listen to the full week,

of course. I figured we'd just add it together a little best of for you since the show isn't

alive. So, until something don't worry, happens. I still a pasta, baby!
