Go to John 10, if you would.

We've been on this all week, and this entire 10th chapter is so rich, of course, and it's talking about the good shepherd and the sheep and a number of things.

So let's look at it again, John 101.

John 101 says, verily, verily, I say to you, Jesus is talking.

He that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way.

The same is a thief and a robber.

Do you know with the Lord, the end does not justify the means?

You ever heard that phrase before?

Well, the end justifies the means.

In other words, as long as it turned out okay, then how we got there,

wasn't that big a deal. Not true with him. And see, he's talking about that here. The right

one comes the right way. And coming the wrong way shows you're the wrong one and wrong motives and wrong things.

And that's, he keeps bringing up the Spirit of God through him through this whole passage,

this opposite, the nature of God and the nature of the thief.

And whatever spirit or spirits you yield to,

you take on those characteristics.

And this explains a whole lot of things.

People say, well, I was born this way.

And the truth is, that could be so.

But that's not the same as God making you that way.
