Matthew 6.

I can point to this passage of scripture as the pivotal revelation in Phyllis and my turnaround in our finances, oh, two plus decades ago we had already were in the

ministry I was already preaching and we were broke we're making we had more

money coming in than we'd ever had, but we're in worse shape too.

You know, we talked about this, this past weekend, you can have a million dollars a week

coming in.

But if you're spending one point two, in five weeks, you're a million, you're a million in a hole

even though you got a lot coming in and so we had

I don't know if you call it a lot but we had more coming in

than what we had had but we got in bad shape.

And this went on month after month, after month, after month, and actually year after year.

And I'm a preacher.

I believe in prosperity.

And it got to the point I remember one afternoon.

I came in and nobody's in the house but me yet and I went into the little

bedroom and I fell across the bed

it was weighing on me so strong

I fell across the bed and wept

and cried I said God this is not right

you know financial pressure

is a bad thing
