Would you turn with me to the 66th Psalm this evening?

We began last night talking about this scripture and a wonderful truth here.

And let's read it.

Then we'll pray, believe for utterance, to go on further tonight.

Psalm 66 and down about the 12th verse.

Well, let me read verse 10 again.

Says, you, O Lord, have proved us.

How many of know you got to pass some tests?

You've tried us as silver is tried.

And, you know, when the pressure is on, you'll find out what's in people.

Right?

A lot of people can put on a smiley face and act like, you know, a Christian, act like a faith person, sitting up in church, in air condition comfort. Right? But it's when the pressure's on that you find out what's inside. I've had people come, you know, and they're just crying and carry it on. They're going, Brother Keith, I don't understand.

I'm a faith person.

This is not supposed to be happening to me.

Well, you're not acting like a faith person.

That's not how faith acts.

Did you hear me?

If you crumble when the pressure's on, you start coming apart at the seams,

then it's being revealed that you're not full of faith.

You're full of fear.

Right?

And it's only when the pressure is on that you really see, both in yourself and in other people.
