Thank you so much for listening. I hope you're doing well out there. It's November. It's getting a little colder, at least in some places.

We're about to set the clocks back over the weekend,

so it's going to start getting dark really early. I hate that. I hope everything's okay in your

world. I hope we can give you an hour of goofy fun about stuff that isn't all that important,

but hopefully make you feel connected to the other yacht possums who enjoy listening

to this program.

We'll start today with a text I received at 4.10 a.m. Pacific time, but fortunately did not

see until about an hour and a half later from one cousin Josh, who informed me that it would be Josh McDaniels, who'd be joining the Chipotle

franchise first.

And Josh included a frowny face with this announcement, not because he's a particular

fan of Josh McDaniels, but because, of course, last week he predicted that it would be

Ron Rivera, who'd be the first NFL coach

fired. And there were rumblings a couple days ago that that is coming soon. But McDaniels beats

Rivera to the punch. And he's already got an assistant manager showing him appropriate lime

cutting techniques. I've been a McDaniels defender for too long, it turns out.

I really did more blame Derek Carr for a lot of last year's offensive mediocrity.

To be honest, I still stand by it.
