but there are a lot of moving pieces in the NFL before we get to the week nine games,

including another positive COVID test in the Thursday nighters.

So first we had AJ Dylan test positive on Sunday.

He's on the Packers in their backfield.

That forced one of their other running backs, Jamal Williams, to be ruled out Thursday night

because he was ruled a close contact to Dylan.

Now one day before the game, we get Kendrick born on the 49ers testing positive as well.

So we're going to find out whether the NFL decides to change anything pretty soon, I would think. But it wouldn't surprise me if this game gets moved back to the weekend. We've already seen that happen once where a Thursday nighter got moved to Monday a few weeks back with the bills and chiefs. So we'll be following it as usual. My Thursday rankings update, that's going to reflect all the latest news.
