I'm Bob Harris, and this is our weekly look at injuries of note coming out of Sunday's games to get up to speed as you start assessing possible roster moves in advance of the week 10 contests. The Cowboys have problems heading into their game against the surging

divisional rival Philadelphia Eagles. Quarterback Jack Prescott suffered a hamstring injury

in the second half of yesterday's loss to the Falcons. Prescott and receiver C.D. Lamb,

who played through an AC joint issue in his shoulder, will both undergo MRIs today. Prescott,

who left the game at the end of the third quarter, was also seen

favoring his right hand upon exiting. Cooper Rush replaced Prescott for the final quarter.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said after the game that he's hopeful Lamb can play through the injury,

as he did yesterday. Lamb, who was injured on a first half catch, wound up with eight catches

for 47 yards. He had two runs for 15 yards while absorbing

several more hits on the shoulder, including on a two-point conversion with less than two

minutes remaining in the game. He stayed on the ground, riding in pain after that final hit

on the shoulder. Lamb said he plans to play against the Eagles, and Prescott said it would take a lot

for him not to be out there. The Eagles might have an issue as well. Wide receiver A.J.

Brown was ruled out against the Jaguars just after halftime yesterday. As Pro Football Talk.com

reported, he was slow to get up after his final catch of the game, which came at the two-minute

warning of the first half. He walked off under his own power without any sign of a limp,

but was back on the sideline with the team after the half, but he left for further evaluation before the offense got the ball and he was ruled out a

short time later. Head coach Nick Siriani did not have an update on Brown's status after the game.

Brown's already missed three games earlier this year with a hamstring injury. He had 200-yard

receiving games this season and entered Sunday with 21 catches for 408 yards and

three touchdowns. Safe to assume an MRI is coming for Brown today, so stay tuned.
