It's dark times around here, Vance, I'll let you get us started.

Dude, what a weird day. We're recording this on Tuesday, it's about 2 o'clock on the East Coast as this recording.

I just feel like there's a lot of negative news coming out around the NFL and it's kind of a bummer. I had a pretty good week in DFS this past week, but even considering that, it's just been a weird couple of days, of course, we can't bury the lead.

Derek Henry is gonna be out for quite a while, which is hashtag not good for our big dog team, which essentially I've put the bed at this point.

We just got the sombre news of the Henry Rugg situation, which if you haven't seen, he's involved in a DUI that actually resulted in killing the other driver, which is just tragic news.

So I'm not gonna lie, I'm in a weird place. I feel really bummed and I feel bad about it because I feel like I'm on the show, we're always just like in a great mood to start.

But yeah, man, I'm gonna be honest, I'm not in a great mood right now entering this Tuesday as of week 9.

Yes, lots of reasons to Henry Ruggs was on our big dog team, but that aside, it was a tough weekend to be a Falcons fan with Calvin Ridley, totally respect the man, but as a fan, it's also tough.

My braves, I'm still looking for us to pull out this world series. So as of this recording, it's getting dicey and things in Atlanta, you just don't assume that you're actually gonna pull through.

I actually assume the opposite at this point, but here's what I feel bad for you, bets because over the last couple of years, doing DFS, you've developed a proprietary model based around Derek Henry and the snow model, you and I, we had filed for a patent.

And with this news, we've gotten full shark tank, they're out. So no longer do people want this model. How are you feeling about that?

I mean, the model doesn't even exist at this point. It's barely even got started. You know, we kind of had it, you turn in the corner a little bit, it's getting colder, and you know, when it snows, we know Derek Henry goes off.

The snow's coming in the next couple of weeks. I think it's actually in the forecast for the next week. And what do you know, Derek Henry now out after foot surgery. So,

sometimes, maybe you'll come back in the playoffs, assuming the Titans make it there, it looks like they will, but there's news that Derek Henry could be back for the playoffs and we do talk DFS for the playoffs.

So if that's the case, maybe you'll get up and running like I'm this year, we'll see.

Yeah, because we need the correlation to continue. And I know you get to give your full injury take on him.

Andrew Blitz podcast in terms of Jones fracture and recovery time and it's just not looking good. It's not looking good at all. But this is a DFS podcast. So we get to first kind of decompress talk about this next week's slate.

And let's talk about this past week about cash before we get into week nine.

I was all over the map and I'll get to explain where I was at. But you and I had some major concerns about Jalen Hertz.

I think that was one of the better calls we had this past week of paying up for Josh Allen. He was the QB one of the slate. It didn't feel that way for three quarters of the game.
