I'm glad you said it this way because that game in South Bend actually may come down to that,

especially now that USC has decided that it is a ground and pound team.

So let's talk about that because that's a fascinating game,

not just because of the circumstances around this year's matchup,

but because we don't exactly know the future of the USC Notre Dame rivalry.

USC seems to be a little persnickety about when and where it gets played. Notre Dame would like to

keep playing it. Notre Dame, you know, painting USC is scurred.

Not scared, but scurred.

And this is going to be a subplot as this game plays out.
