All right, so with that said, we did make it to smack off week.

We even survived by Mageddon in NFL week 8.

As it turns out, Aaron Rogers was exactly right about last night not being a revenge game because Aaron did not get any revenge at all last night.

In fact, it was the opposite of revenge. It wasn't an Aaron proves the Packers wrong game.

It was more of a Jordan Love proves the Packers wrong game. It was more of a Jordan Love proves the Packers

right game. Jordan Love getting outplayed by a 41-year-old Aaron Rogers in a dink and dunk

steward's offense would have been really bad for Jordan Love. But that's not what happened.

What happened was Love balled out. Love

treated that steward defense like the massive disappointment that it is. So a big game for

Love and the Packers really need to get that one to get their season back rolling downhill.

As for Pittsburgh, man, same as they ever were.

Exactly the same as they ever were, only with the worst defense they've ever had.

They look like, yeah, maybe they can win their eight games, nine games, maybe even ten games.

Just enough to get in the first round of the playoffs, only to get

worked again, just like they always do. So in the end, no revenge. No revenge for Aaron, but somebody

who did get a revenge game yesterday was none other than Justin Fields, but he got revenge on his own team.

Fields got revenge on his own owner after Woody Johnson did him dirty and ran him into the

wood chipper last week. Nothing like the owner putting all the blame on you for an 0 and 7 start

and then going out and responding with your best performance of the season and getting the

head coach his first win of his career. All of that said, as improved his fields was,

he wasn't even the one who threw the game-winning touchdown
