Hello, everybody, welcome to the Roto Roll Football Show. Week 5 is almost over. It is time for our week six waiver wire show. I am Patrick D'Rey, joined by our WaverWire Guru, Kyle Dvorchick. But you're here today. We're going to take your questions, talk primarily about waivers.

Kyle, who is the biggest ad of the week? Not a high wattage week.

Thankfully not many injuries. There were some, though. No obvious, like, killer app ads, I would say, though.

Who are you saying is the Waver Wire ad in the week for week six? I'm going to give you two,

because we have a not in my league All-Star and a true rostered in less than 50% of Yahoo

league's guide that is also a good ad. Not in My League All-Star is Rico Dowell coming off of over

200 yards on the ground, 23 for 206 and 1 plus like 3 for 28 through the air. If I remember all of his numbers correctly, I should because he looked incredible. Per pro football focus, it was the most yards after contact for a running back in a game this year, and it is not a close race. It's one of the best football games we've seen by a running back in the past month of football. If, and this is probably true, if he's not available in your league, not in my league, All-Star, Michael Carter should be, at least is more likely to be available in your league. And while he didn't have the explosive runs that we saw with Rico Dowdal, he didn't have a similarly strong role. It gets 18 carries, five catches. And this is what we expected, given that ESPN's Adam Schuster reported on Sunday morning that it looked like he was going to step into the Trey Benson role. And I'mari DiMarcato, who had the infamous dropped non-touchdown, would maintain that third down type of role. We expected that going into the game. That's what we saw. we probably got even more in terms of past catching value than we expected with Carter. It looks like we're probably getting at least a strong role from Carter for the next month or so. And potentially we could just continue to see him progress as both a pass catcher and a runner. Because the efficiency wasn't really there, but we buy rolls off the way of wire. And that's what we're getting. I don't know how impressive this will sound to people, but they've been playing NFL football for well over 100 years at this point, and Rico Dottle is the 120th most rushing yards in NFL history. And Rico, listen, he didn't, even Rico didn't see this coming. He predicted he would only rush for 180. I don't know if you've seen this,

Kyle. He had apparently predicted to his teammates. He told him he was going to go for 180 against the

dolphins. So good. He went over for 200. Michael Carter. Amari Di Mercado probably took himself out

of the running there when he literally stopped running short at the end zone. And for some reason to not score score a touchdown. But O'Marian Hampton's the big news. We have some questions coming in. Joseph G. He wants to know our thoughts in the Chargers backfield. Chip H is wondering, is it Vidal's season? Hassan Haskins was the guy who actually made the team. Kamani Vidal is now on the team.

He was promoted from the practice squad a week or two ago.

Things change following injuries, though.

Marion Hampton's probably going to miss at least a game or two.

He's getting an MRI on Monday.

If he is indeed out for week six, I believe against the dolphins.

I think they have a really, really good matchup, the same RICO Doddle matchup. Is it Hassan-Haskin season? Is it Kamani Vidal's season? What are you telling people about the Chargers backfield as we kind of await more information on Omari in Hampton? Look, I want it to be Vidal's season, probably more than the next guy, not as much as the next guy, more than the next guy. He was a prospect. I really liked coming out of college, one of these small school, hyperproductive, and then really good athletes. And all of those signs point to him being potentially a productive NFL player. The Chargers have really not thought that, to the point which you made that they kept Hassan Haskins on the active 53 man roster and cut Vidal knowing that they would just get to stash him on the practice squad. I think as of right now, actually, he is not on the active roster. He remains, he's been called up. He's been a game day promotion. They'll probably end up signing him to the active roster, I would imagine, this week. But that is a stark contrast to me. They had the choice to keep one of these players and let one potentially be

poached or at least sit on the practice squad for a few weeks. And Haskins was the guy that kept. Haskins is also he out carried it all five to four last week. And he played under Jim Harbaugh at Michigan. He was not a bad player at Michigan too. and we know how the Harbauls love keeping things in-house with players that they play between the two, with coaching staves.

So I've been leading Haskins so far. I do think it is truly as murky as it gets. but if you made me bet my fab on it, I'm betting right now,
