Welcome to the Andy Staples show and welcome back.

We are celebrating new dad Ari Wasserman back on the show.

The last time you heard from him, he was not apparent.

Now he is partially responsible for another human life.

That's a terrifying prospect, but I'm glad that his fiancé is the responsible party in the family.

Yeah, as we do this right now, the fiancé is watching the baby sleep.

So, you know, the cool thing about podcasting is you can

strategically plan naps around when we're recording. And I'm lucky enough to live in a two-story

house. So nobody is being bothered, hopefully. And I'm so happy to do this because I needed this

as I need this as a man right now. I'm at the end of my pitiful rope.

Too much talk of feeding and then and swaddling and swaddling blankets and and whatnot.

I will say that I probably had the best experience in the hospital of anybody on earth

because Brit finds football sounds soothing.

So two days after she gave birth was Saturday, or a few days after it was Saturday.

And we watched college football in that room.

And this is the last day we were in the hospital.

And we watched college football from 11 a.m. until midnight non nonstop. And I had the computer on the bed. And in between, you know, doing things with the baby when she was napping. I had three, four hours sessions of just living the dream out there. So, you know, not a lot to complain about. And, you know, so thankful that everybody's happy and healthy, but boy, do I need some football

on my life again because it's been, it's been quite a week. Just plan out everybody, all you
