You know what?

There was a lot of wild football yesterday.

We will get to the wildest game of the day in a little bit.

That was Red River, Texas OU, overtime shootout.

But it felt like there was a lot of Big 12, even in the SEC going on.

What did you make of so much offensive firepower and so much really inept defense?

Well, I think that it's, you know, a lot of people are taking a lot of glee and understandably

so after all those years of the SEC and making fun of the Big 12 and whatnot.

Like that set of games Saturday was just, the recurring theme was bad defense.

Bad, I mean, LSU's defense, we now know after two examples of this, is embarrassing.

Florida's defense got really overlooked the first couple weeks,

even though they struggled, and Texas A&M exposed them.

But obviously, the real story, the big story, Alabama,

Alabama 63, Ole Miss 48, Lane Kiffin,

just having his way with the Alabama defense.

If not for a bad snap.

I mean, really, the only thing that stopped Ole Miss at the end of the, in the fourth quarter,

was bad snaps.

I'm trying to figure out, well, first of all, in terms of the bigger picture, like, I don't,

I don't think, I think it's a little too simplistic to say, oh, the SEC, they now have bad defense is just like the big 12. I mean, in Oklahoma, Texas, not many of those guys that you saw in either defense are going to end up being high around draft picks. As bad as Alabama's defense looked, a lot of those guys will, you know, Dylan Moses will still be a high draft pick.
