What is up, it's the rant. My name is Jeff Racklet and it is Wednesday October 6th.

It is Rankings Day. As you can probably see from the title of this podcast, we dive into

the rankings here like we do every Wednesday, a little bit of movement this week. Certainly

some question marks and I'll talk about one when we get to running back. But let's dive

in a quarterbacks to start off the show today and you know how I like to do it. I keep it

fairly straightforward. Generally speaking, if you do have one of the top 11 quarterbacks,

you're going to start that quarterback essentially every single week. I don't want to even

roster another quarterback because I don't want to put myself in a predicament. I don't

want to be in a situation where I have to make a decision and that includes Justin Herbert

this week who you're going to look at my rankings. You're going to see Kirk cousins ahead

of them and you're going to say, should I make a move? No, just start Justin Herbert. It's

not like I have ranked the 30. I haven't met 14. I'm getting a little ahead of myself. But

if you have one of the top 11, don't put yourself in a situation where you have to make decisions

because I will guarantee you that more often than not, you're going to make the wrong decision.

In fantasy football, if we can keep things as simple as possible, we can eliminate a lot

of those dilemmas. We're going to be in a better spot. I used to be like that man. I used

to have all those dilemmas and I'd overthink it and I'd make the wrong darn decision

every single week. Well, not every week, but most weeks. So don't do that to yourself.

You have one of those top 11. You do not need a second quarterback, except for the by-week.

And last I checked, nobody's on by this week. Also, friendly reminder, before I get into the

quarterback rankings, there is a London game this week. That game is at 9.30 a.m. Eastern,

which of course is 6.30 a.m. out there on the West Coast. It's the jets and the Falcons.
