Hello everybody, it is the week 4 recap podcast. I just said a week and I was hoping that I said the right week. I'm already losing track of that. You got it right? I got it right. I'm Patrick Dardy. That's Danny Carter. We're going to break down every game from the Sunday slate.

That includes the Rams overtime victory over the Colts. The Broncos are racing a 28 to 7 deficit against the Bears to get their first win of the Sean Peyton era.

We're also going to talk about the bills and dolphins not quite playing the game of the century like they did last year and the bills serving notice they might still be elite.

Not that anyone thought they really weren't elite. We'll also touch on the London game or get Mr. Danny Carter out of here, but Danny will start with Broncos bears.

This was like the earliest in the season of toilet bowl has ever been played to own three truly desperate teams squaring off. The Bears got out to a 28 to 7 lead.

I feel like Sean Peyton was basically reading the buyout language and his contract at that point. And then some of the next thing I knew the Broncos were winning 31-28.

That ended up being the final, but I think we should start with the Bears in Justin Fields where he was supposed to be one of the most important fancy players this season.

That had not been the case at all through three games. He had a big day. What did we see from Fields and the Bears or you can tell us to what the hell happened with this company because I actually have no idea.

I do think I had the sense to that Sean Peyton was looking very strongly through his contract and seeing exactly what the deal was with maybe leaving after week four.

He just Googled the word loopholes. He didn't Google the word like contract loopholes. Like NFL loopholes. He just Googled the word loopholes.

That wasn't a good sign, but Broncos came back here because the Bears' defense is really bad. Fields played well, but he completed 28 of 34 passes for almost 10 yards per attempt for touchdowns.

One interception, of course, that was the back breaking interception late in the fourth quarter to lose the game. He was also sacked five times, which is a persistent problem with him is just staying in the pocket and taking sacks.

He didn't run that much here. Almost nothing designed. After seven design runs last week, we may have gotten one or two today. Maybe that was GameScript related.

He got by against just a miserable Denver secondary. The whole defense is bad. Don't get me wrong. But the secondary for Denver is especially bad. I'm telling you guys we're just running free in the secondary throughout DJ more big game.

Colcomat big game two touchdowns for commit. So I really don't think that you can look at this and say fields is back. I don't I don't think he's back.

Not a ball. Now we're in that regard by I don't really understand how the Broncos defense is this bad, but it just is this bad. And I should have known I as the world's foremost worst Colcomat family. I'm not even a Colcomat fan.

I kept thinking like I was seduced for that really empty volume at the end of the season. I'm like, no, it's a draft Colcomat. I'll do it. And then he did absolutely nothing.

For three weeks. I finally got him benched across the board. Oh, no 85 yards to touch and DJ more has at least arrived at the 2023 party the past weeks. It looked like the nightmare to end all nightmares in week one.

200 yard games in his past three contests to touchdowns in the past three weeks, including each of the past two weeks.

The least vaguely usable just in fields at least three stats every every game knows so the huge DJ more stat line.

You said against a basically nonexistent defenses or anything more tangible to cling to with DJ more or see still just way, way more volatile than he has any right to be considering how shaky his offenses.

Well, I should say more so in this game than in previous games this season, DJ more was used in the short areas of the field. And then he got a couple deep shots.
