| 0:00.0 | Hello, everybody. Welcome to the Rotorold football show, Week 3, Waver Wired. |
| 0:20.6 | The Wired, Wired, Wires, Q&A. |
| 0:23.6 | I am Patrick Dardy, joined by our Waivers guru, expert, Kyle Dvorchick. |
| 0:28.3 | We're going to talk all of Week 3's biggest ads, maybe some of the drops, |
| 0:32.6 | maybe some of the crying, maybe some of the coping, Zach Charbonnet. |
| 0:36.3 | He didn't do nothing wrong, but he did. It wasn't nothing, but not as much wrong as you might have think. No, he kind of did. It wasn't great. It wasn't great for Zach. Wasn't great for Kenneth Walker the 30 either. It's going to be a really fun situation all season long. It looks like in that Seahawks back bill. But any questions you have, feel free to get them into us. We'll answer them as we go. We will begin as we plan to begin every week, though, Kyle. I'm not a very explosive week on the waiver wired, waiver wire. Thankfully, not a whole lot of injuries yet. One huge injury in Joe Burrow, of course, which I'm sure we will break down from every angle. |
| 1:11.5 | But the fancy fallout from that is different than it would be for like a running back, though. |
| 1:16.0 | So who is the waiver wire out of the week for week three, Kyle? |
| 1:20.2 | I think it's an interesting week for wide receiver. |
| 1:22.1 | A lot of fringe breakout candidates, but I will go with one of the players that broke out in week two, Tennessee's Eilich, Iommanner, fourth round rookie, who had a really intriguing profile, immediately earns a starting role, earns a ton of air yards in week one, does not convert on almost any of them, but we finally get the conversion in week two, which is just over 50 yards, I believe, four catches and scores an insane touchdown. Frankly, he was insane from Kim Ward. It was a very good play from Iommanner. Has another incredible one-handed catch. He's looking the part in terms of potentially being this team's future wide receiver one. Frankly, he tied Calvin Ridley in targets. He might be the team's wide receiver one right now. Yeah, I mean, he's gotten out target by Calvin Ridley by one through two weeks, |
| 2:01.6 | 14 to 13. I mean, is Ridley looking dusty, by the way? Like, is this about Iyo Manor, |
| 2:07.6 | or is it about more like Ridley to kind of maybe losing another step? I think he's 29 or 30 |
| 2:13.7 | at this point. Is this much about Calvin Ridley as it is Elykeye-Mainer, Kyle? |
| 2:18.8 | I think specifically for these Titans wide receivers who are operating at these like 10 to 12, |
| 2:24.1 | I mean, for Iommators, like a 20-yard adot in week one, |
| 2:27.4 | the standard deviation on their scoring from week to week is going to be so insanely high |
| 2:32.7 | because one, that's just naturally what comes with a high A dot. And two, for as fun as Cam Ward was in week two, there are still a lot of flaws in his game. So I would say it's some of both, right? It's some just the offense in general and the nature of having a rookie quarterback. You're going to take your lumps. But the fact that Iommander, who's a good prospect, but he fell to the fourth round. He fell to day three of the draft. He's not an elite prospect by any means is immediately going toe to toe with Ridley in terms of target earning. I do think that's an indictment of Calvin Ridley. Because if you told me that they just took a handful of fourth round rookies, they signed Tyler Lockett and Van Jefferson. I would say, oh, that's a set-out for a 30 to 35% target share, like league leading target share from Calvin Ridley. And he's already not doing that kind of thing. What does this look like in week five, week seven, week 10, when Iommainer is more established as, well, as potentially the clear wide receiver one on this team, I do think Iron Manor is underrated |
| 3:24.9 | as a prospect, but not so underrated that Calvin Ridley should be going no more than toe to toe |
| 3:30.5 | with him in targets in week two of all weeks. Yeah, I absolutely love when the fourth round rookie |
| 3:34.9 | comes out and immediately commands as many targets as me. So, I. Amater, an interesting ad, |
| 3:40.4 | maybe someone who's still going to |
| 3:41.8 | max out is like more of a bi-week fill-in wide receiver four. That's kind of his baseline right now. |
