Okay. this is the pack a day podcast welcome in to behind enemy lines the collaboration between the pack of a day podcast and the paul farington show paul joined by robert ziggi ziegler up at harvard

university and the great andy herman of packaday, I mean, Andy, we're going to give you

your flowers since this show currently has one big winner and two. I don't want to say losers

about me and Ziggy, but it's kind of trending in that direction given this past weekend of

not just Viking, not just Viking misery, but we're actually at the Notre Dame game this weekend, too,

losing on the final play. So a tough football weekend for the Paul Farrington show.

Very much so. I, man, it just seems lately that there's just a little extra crisp in the air.

Everything seems amazing, just rainbow and sunshine and butterflies all over the place.

Every day, I just wake up with a little bit of

extra exuberance and like, you know, just like life is so incredible. It's really remarkable

how things feel right. How are you guys doing? Ziggi, you want to take this one? I might just

walk off for a few minutes. Right now it's 70 and sunny in Green Bay. It's like 60 and dark clouds over here. Yeah, exactly how things are going. There's like just a rain cloud kind of over. I feel like following me around lately. Whenever I think about football, I'm like, oh, my God. So, Andy, I actually did a little calculation. When I get sad about football, I try and find like the optimistic point of view, but then

usually just leads me down another pessimistic path.

And I realized between Notre Dame and the Vikings, right before the Viking ran playoff game

last year, the two of them had combined to be 28 and 4 that last season, which I mean, that's like,

you can't strip it much better.

Since then, one in five with maybe one good quarter of Viking football and one awesome national

championship opening drive for ND, but other than that, just straight heartbreak.
