in your league. I'm Bob Harris. I'll be here every Monday morning covering the

injuries that matter most from

Sunday's games. While we did see some injuries yesterday, week three was calm

compared to week two so we have that going for us. Let's start with Chargers

quarterback Justin Herbert who got to start against the

sealer Sunday despite a right ankle injury, but he wasn't able to go to the distance.

Herbert left the game after taking a sack of the third quarter.

He didn't return after having the same ankle evaluated on the sideline medical tent.

He was initially designated as questionable, but head coach Jim Harbaw told reporters after the game,

he was not going to let him back in.

As soon as I saw him get up, the first sign of any limp he was coming out, Harbaw said.

Harbaw added that Herbert looked good on Saturday while explaining the decision to play him.

Herbert was 12 of 18 for 125 yards before leaving.

Sunday's loss, Taylor Heineke replaced him and took three sacks during his brief

appearance in the 2010 loss to the Steelers. Herbert told the media, while wearing a walking

boot after the game that he had x-rays done on the ankle. He's hopeful he'll be able to play this weekend,

but the Chargers will have to figure out if it's wiser to let Herbert heal up for a while before

throwing him back into the fray. The Chargers face the chiefs, they'll also be monitoring injuries that knocked out

left tackle
