And welcome back to the Cover 3 podcast here on CBS Sports. We are running four wide here on

a Monday, putting the labor in labor day. That's Danny Canal, that's Tom Fonelli, that's Barton

Simmons. I am Chip Patterson, lots to get to, including one of the biggest names in all of college

football from the PAX 12, making it official that he will not be participating in any kind of winter

spring season. We'll get into that. Plus looking ahead to the week two storylines, lots of teams

that are going to be getting in action. We will be ranking the games in terms of our personal

interest, which games are we the most excited for and why, what sort of has us peaking in terms

of looking out that way. But I want to begin with a real question. As we do sit here, week one

will conclude as it has for the last several years on Labor Day night with a Monday night

nationally televised game. It's going to be BYU at Navy. And a message came across the Cover 3

group chat earlier today. And there was some questions. And so I want to hear Danny Canal.

What new information have you learned that has you wanting to rethink your lock? Because,

you know, for the subscribers of the Cover 3 podcast, who might be listening to this,

as soon as it hits their device, you know, get it wherever you can, then, uh, you know, maybe that

little bit of information can help them, though as Barton did lay down the law, once it is,

once the public has been hit, once we hang up on the call, no changes to the picks, no changes.

I'd be lying. There's a little bit of a crisis of confidence going on over here at DK State

after the weekend. So far, it's unfolded with my early results, uh, sitting at one and two right now
