Hey everybody, welcome in. My name is Chris and I say stuff into a metal stick. Thank

you for being here today. You yacht possums. We've been through our first weekly cycle all

the way from waivers in week one to ranks now for week two. Those week two ranks are up at

Harris football dot com for your perusal and of course I will maintain them as best I can as

news breaks all the way up until Sunday. And this time of year presents its own challenges. It's

the time of overreaction theater as you know the time in which we decide whether to hold firm

on our summer assertions or cave after one week. There's no formula for when we should definitely

cave more than a math problem. It's much more a feel related thing. For me that feel comes down to

what the players actually looked like on film. And I'll give you a couple receiver examples to

illustrate this point. On Tuesday's show you heard me review the Jaguars Colts game or as Jim

Nance and Jim McCormick would call it the Jaguars or just the wires the wires for short. The

wires were not all that impressive in week one offensively to many mistakes Trevor Lawrence

a few loose moments. But the guy who already stands out as someone I feel like I was just

loud wrong about is Calvin Ridley. It is easy enough. Okay yes you can point to the stats

Ridley had eight for one oh one and a touchdown. And that's what people mostly do. Look at the stats

look at these numbers. This dude is legit. I don't have to think about anybody else anything else

I don't have to worry about what he looked like. I don't have to know who he is. What's his uniform

number? It doesn't matter. That's just not how I evaluate this stuff. I want to look at it. I want

to get a feel myself for how replicable I think it is. And of course my feel for how replicable

things are is not undefeated. Sometimes I think I see stuff that I don't. Sometimes vice versa.

So I just went back this morning and I watched Ridley's routes and targets again from week one.

He already might be the best stop route runner in the league. He essentially wasn't in the league
