preseason overreactions. Week two of the preseason, in the books. He who must not be named,

our mailbag segment at the end. But first, first off the ball, a couple of trade news.

We got it. It's a big preseason for player for player trades here. Eagles back at it again.

They traded for John

Mechie, former second round pick of the Houston Texans, obviously battled leukemia early on in

his career, never quite caught on. Looks like he's behind their newly minted second and third

rounders, Jill and Noel, Jaden Higgins on the depth chart. So he gets moved to Philadelphia for

Harrison Bryant back up tight end there. And then the Jaguars traded their center, backup center.

Now, Luke Fortner, another sort of mid-round pick, third-rounder that never quite worked out,

to the Saints for Kalin Saunders defensive tackle.

So this, I'm reading up from the article on CBS sports that producer Harry, who's just so brilliant.

So he was like the swab came hours after the team tied their preseason game 17 to 17.

I just like, there's no weirder feeling than a tie. But imagine you, there's a tie. And then you get to the locker over and they're like, we're trading you for a guy on that team. No weirder feeling. But this is the old, you know, preseason type move. You know, we see this in baseball guys like switch pants with the guy on the other, you know, team. Yeah, we get, you know, you got to get rid of those red cleats, though.

We don't wear red cleats over here.
