| 0:00.0 | Hello, welcome to PFF fantasy football podcasts. I'm your host, Ian Hartitz. And happy week two, everybody. If you got some waiver wire questions, please check out the Tuesday edition of this podcast. If you missed the week one games, you can check out the Monday edition of this podcast. |
| 0:24.0 | But today you're listening to this on a Wednesday, which means we are going game by game breakdown and by we I mean myself and Mr. Dwayne McFarland, PFF senior analyst. |
| 0:35.0 | Creator, almost said owner creator of the utilization report, which you can find on pf.com one of the best pieces of fantasy advice goodness that you can find out there on the old internet. Dwayne, we were talking about the, you know, the blood sweat and tears you put into that baby over the past 24 hours, but it is live. |
| 0:52.0 | And you can now move on to your life, my friend. |
| 0:54.0 | Yeah, I mean week one is always it's the it's the most fun week, but there's also the most to cover. And I'm going to be honest by the time I, you know, I went in alphabetical order by the time I got to the last 14. |
| 1:06.0 | I mean, and I was just here alone, my kids and why for all gone. And I literally I dropped in that farm. I was like, oh my god, I got to get this thing done. Like and I don't know, I love doing it. And I have a lot of passion around it. |
| 1:18.0 | And you crunch data for like, you know, 24 hours straight in your brain as much. You know what I did to celebrate. I went and took a freaking nap in because I was up until like one or two last night. I sent my alarm and I got up at 4 30 this morning to come back in here and work on it and finish it. |
| 1:33.0 | And I still didn't finish it until like almost 11 and I had to take my son to school in between. So once I submitted that thing, I waited to make sure there was no immediate like emergencies from the editor like, hey idiot, like you screwed all these things up. And once I was good. |
| 1:47.0 | I was like, all right, I took an hour and a half nap. I feel I felt I felt way better. I'm definitely sleep deprived at the moment. |
| 1:54.0 | And I'm from Sunday to Wednesday and season, man, it's like, you know, I go to bed. I'm usually dumb working around midnight. I do some stuff during the day to try to get a workout and hang out with the fam a little bit. |
| 2:04.0 | But usually it's like, you know, dumb working at midnight wake up around seven to get going again. But the second my last thing is turned in on Thursday, bro, it could be one PM. It could be two PM or getting loose in the heart. It's how household at that point, man. Like the whiskey is flowing. |
| 2:18.0 | I don't care, man. We don't have a normal seven day, you know, five or eight, nine to five schedule, whatever the hell the normal people do. So I'm not going to worry about it. But whatever, Twain, that's enough complaining between us. We know complaining, man. |
| 2:30.0 | I love it. I love it. But it is like me adjusting to this, to this work schedule. And it's just, it's different like them. What I had before. You know, honestly, it's easier because I love, I just love everything that I'm doing. But yeah, I'm getting used to the, oh my god, I'm not getting any sleep for like two days. |
| 2:47.0 | Either way, when you get to wake up and work on football, it's always a great day to be great. And that's what we're going to talk about here today. All 16 matchups week two. I'm going to take the away team. |
| 2:56.0 | Dwayne's going to take the home team. We'll overlap a little bit. But the goal here. Look, we can preview every single player and every matchup and talk for three hours. We're going to try to cut that in half. Focus on just the most fancy relevant take away from each team. So without further ado, let's get after people. |
| 3:11.0 | First up, Thursday night football. We got the New York football giants at the Washington football team, washed in favor by three and a half points down from four and a half week low 41.5 point game total. |
| 3:22.0 | So not expecting a lot of points in this one. |
| 3:25.0 | Gotta talk a little bit of sake one, Barclay here. A lot of us were disappointed at the usage and just in production last week. That was literally sake one's worst game ever, just 27 total yards. When he got hurt against the bears last year, he still found a way to get 28 yards before exiting the game. |
| 3:40.0 | Now the giants, you know, weren't really in that game in the fourth quarter. So his 47% snap rate. I think we see that get close closer to 60 and more of a neutral situation. |
| 3:50.0 | But it's clearly a situation where Devonte Berker is going to be a little more involved than we were hoping for and having this game be just three days after, you know, only three days of rest, I should say, since sake ones game on Sunday. |
| 4:02.0 | You know, I'm not expecting a huge boost in production. I think in week three, that's when we can maybe, you know, start looking at, hey, 70 80% get sake one back to his usual role. For now that we need to downgrade him a bit. |
| 4:13.0 | So hey, it's not like we went into last week with sake one as our overall RB five RB six we had him as RB 16. There were a good group of guys to take ahead of him. |
