It is a playoff ranking reaction edition.

And there's a lot to react to again because this is not your typical season. Obviously, these are not your typical playoff

ranking reveals. Usually we're talking about what happened during the games. We're parsing

the differences between very good teams. We're usually not talking about a team not being able

to play and then potentially not being able to make its conference championship game because it didn't play enough games and that is where we're at though Ari Wasserman with Ohio State right now Ohio State did not play against Illinois

They may or may not play against Michigan State they They're planning to play against Michigan State.

Michigan has paused.

That is Ohio State's game for next week.

We don't know if that game is going to be played.

And it is now coming home to roost in the rankings.

The Buckeyes came in at 4,

but it sounds to me like they are setting this up for A&M to pass them if Texas A&M keeps winning.

Yeah, it's going to be an interesting debate because unlike any of the previous six, seven years,

we haven't spent much time comparing how many games teams have played.

We've just done resume to resume.

So I don't know where you thought Ohio State was going to land in these

rankings. I thought it was going to be very interesting to see. And then being number four,

I think is a strong indication of the respect that they have from the committee. And Ohio State did

get some good news on Tuesday that their team is back to, you know, working out and having their

meetings in preparation

for the Michigan State game. Now, we don't know who on Ohio State's not playing yet because
